Hello again all,

As kindly pointed out by GTI i forgot to mention that the mileage on the car is around the 42,000 mile mark. Have once again had the car on the drive with the other half revving the engine. If i stand at the front and lean over the engine the noise seems to be coming from the rear of the engine under the inlet manifold ?.

The noise is more noticeable as the revs die down in the last couple of seconds.
