I am considering buying a totally standard MKIV UK Spec Supra TT which as far as I know packs 320bhp. Now I'm interested in approximately how much power I could expect at flywheel with mods listed below. Car can be auto or manual.

Induction kit with heat shield

Full decat 3" exhaust system (im assuming it has 2 downpipes to replace being TT?)

Boost valve set to an extra 5 psi over standard (under bonnet style)

Fuel pump

Thanks for the reply. How much approx power could I expect from a JDM one then that is at 280bhp?

the figure "280bhp" for a jdm is really non existant, as most stock jdm supras run around 300 - 330 bhp ...... just the gentlemens agreement on paper specifies the import as being 280hp .... would really depend on what the condition of the car, induction kits dont do anything significant (if anything, they reduce performance as air intake tempratures are higher.... due to heat in the engine bay)

fuel pump with regulator will give between 15 - 20hp (as quoted from another forum...)

decat really makes a diffrence to the car... i've had mine decatted, but not had a boost gauge installed (till weekend anyway) to see if its made a big diffrence ( dont think it has as i didnt install the fuel cut defender, so its prob running less then 1 bar :( ) stock jspec turbo's can run 1.2 bar (this is considered the highest safe limit), but good idea to get a restrictor ring.... i know of one guy that had 80hp gain with a double decat, again, totally dependent on the car/condition of turbos and how restrictive the exhaust is....

would not recommend a boost valve unless u have hybrid turbos.... single turbo kits start around £1800 and produce silly bhp....

although the uk cars are hard to come by, they are a lot cheaper on insurance... have stronger turbos (but jspec's spool faster) loads of minor diffrences, do a search :P

UK Cars are 326bhp (320bhp is the US)

Induction kit with heat shield will give approx 20bhp

The full exhaust system should take a stock uk spec up to the 400bhp mark so approx 70bhp - by the way its a single downpipe out of the turbo manifold to the first cat and then the pipe runs from the first to the second cat and then to the back box.

You can raise the boost pressure higher than just an extra 5psi once the cats are gone and the exhaust is upgraded.

Stock boost is 0.8 bar, you can safely run it at 1.2 bar - some have been known to run 1.5 bar on stock setups (just a bigger intercooler) fine, this is at your own risk though

UK Standard Fuel System is good for up to 500bhp i believe so unless your going about that you can leave it as it is.

With all these mods your looking at between 400-450bhp
