Find a breaker that has a 160mph UK speedo or go to Mr T and ask nicely. Pay your money and swap it for your 180kph relabelled one. Change the whole speedo mech and you wont have a problem, it will read and count in miles.

Alternatively buy the converter gearbox (about £50) and plug it into the top of the gearbox and change your dial face back to 180 kph and put a MPH sticker over the kph one.

Is it possible to use one of those electronic convertors on a cable driven speedo ?

How do I know if my speedo is cable driven or electronic ?

Its a 1991 MR2 turbo

Thanks

rev1's are cable (usually) and rev2+ are electric.

Gte your chassis number and look a tthe sticky threads to find your revision.

and yeah, the converters are fairly cheap .. look in the back of Banzai mag ..
