Buying A Celica

hi, im thinking about buying a 1990 celica gt 4X4,. the cars done 91K and the ad says it is in good nick. does anybody think it is worth going for and if so, what should i be looking for (common faults etc) ? also he wants £2500 for it, is that good ?

Hi, I had one which had a really annoying strange whirring noise for about the first 2 miles from cold. Nobody seemed to know what it was and was never cured. Sounded like a cross between a header tank boiling over and a wheel bearing noise. Couldn't tell where it came from. Great car other wise.
