Mint 1980 Celica: What Would It Go For?

Recommended Posts

My grandpa has had a MINT CONDITION 1980 Celica in his garage since the early '80s. He bought it new, and there are only 79,000 original miles on it!!! I don't know alot about these cars, but I know that it's in perfect condition.

So my question is, how much would something like this go for??

The only thing wrong is it has a broken flywheel tooth.. where would I go about finding a new flywheel for it?? (5-speed manual)

Thanks!

Which model is it? ST, XT or GT and is it a coupe or a liftback?

It's an off-white (don't know the color) GT liftback. Perfect condition in and out. I never really thought about it until he drove over to my house today... he takes it out every few months to keep the gas tank turned over. The thing is perfect. Just curious. Thanks

It's a 1980 Limited Edition Celica GT. I'll see if I can get some pictures sometime later this week. It's over and my grandpa's house so next time I'm over there I'll ask him if he's trying to get rid of it and snap some pictures. I don't think it's sat outside one night in 20 years... pretty cool.

Hi,

It does sound like a nice car! Have a chat to your Granddad and when / if he wants to sell it, I would love to buy it from him.

Kind Regards

Bruce
