OK, Asha helped me out.

tubby = turbo

I was a little confused when someone said the higher gas prices are bad news "if you have a tubby"

I figured it was either turbo, or if you're a fat ***** your car would get worse fuel mileage :lol:

yep you's got it, also tubby is my cats name. it can also be used to describer a fat mother ******.

Yeah, the second definition is the one we use here, that's what had me a bit confused.

So is your cat really fast, or is he just a fat *****? :lol:

Well I'm a Brit through and through (well apart from some Canadian on my Dads side!) and I didnt know what tubby meant!

I was thinking of stevetubbyturbo and I thought - if its turbo, why is he calling himself steveturboturbo? And it just didnt make sense to me! lol

But - now I know! Silly me! :lol::lol::lol:

I dont know about other car makes.. but us MR2 lads call the MR2 Turbo a 'tubby' for short...

Hope that clears up that question... coming from a British born Pakistani... just to confuse matters a little more.. :lol:

Ok.. so we got tubby's and soops... wat have i got?......... be carefull now.. the yaris section is huge.

Brits is pretty common, though I don't use that term.
