I was a little confused when someone said the higher gas prices are bad news "if you have a tubby"

I figured it was either turbo, or if you're a fat ***** your car would get worse fuel mileage

Well I'm a Brit through and through (well apart from some Canadian on my Dads side!) and I didnt know what tubby meant!

I was thinking of stevetubbyturbo and I thought - if its turbo, why is he calling himself steveturboturbo? And it just didnt make sense to me! lol

But - now I know! Silly me!

I dont know about other car makes.. but us MR2 lads call the MR2 Turbo a 'tubby' for short...

Nah, no one says that anymore. That is very old school, like my grandfathers generation.

Brits is pretty common, though I don't use that term.

I usually just say "kipper-eating b*stards"
