hi

just bought a apexi induction kit off eBay.

wasn't anyone from here selling it was it?

quite pleased with the price. :D

£46 quid, seems cheap but if their are any brackets missing i can make them at work.

looking forward to getting it fitted so i can get a comparrison to the trd panel filter i have got in at the moment.

once its fitted think i'll take it over the cat and fiddle road in the peak district for a test run :D

u will notice a big difference. it gives ur engine alot more of a grunt. cant hear mine as much when ur in the car now tho cos of my exhaust but i sounds good when the car is comin towards u

Make sure you got the pipe for the maff sensor the cast iron thingy.

I wouldnt of care just 2 days earlier i oredered an brand new apxi :wacko:

hm so YOU are the one who won it.Am only joking.The iron thingy as somebody else said is missing,so I think you gave much money.I can buy the same filter less than £30 including postage straigtht from Japan.

But dont worry,you can make this iron thingy youself.You can turn it in a lathe.

the iron maf pipe is attached or at least it seems to be in the photo, so still seems a good price as it sells for around £130rrp

and as for chocolatelegs lol :D , i do a fair bit of cycling and my mate calls me that as my legs always seem to melt going up steep hills.

hi.

the filter has arrived ok but had a bit of trouble fitting it. :ffs:

the problem was that i could not undo the 3 bolts at the bottom of the standard airbox. all the other bolts are 10 mm but the 10 mm socket slips on them yet the 9mm wont go on. any one know for sure the exact size of these.

thanks in advance.

also thinking of relocating the filter. has anyone got any hints and tips or a guide to the process.
