W58, will a 3SGTE bolt straight up to it?

Any modifications needed?

(btw for those who dont know what a w58 is, you wont be able to help me ;) )

I know the W58 can be fitted toa 3G, as toyota did it from stock...

you might find that you need a specific bellhousing though.. not sure if the 7M style will fit, -or the jz type for that matter!!! (or 1G :P)

I know the guy that has my old mr2 has the engine out.. as hes a supra nut he will also have a W58 lying about I'll ask him to offer them up for me!

I just need to know if the existing bell housing will bolt up as if thats the case it makes the job that lot more easier as i wont have to go hunting around for bits ;)

Assuming it does i think it will just be a case of making/modifying engine mounts, fitting a FMIC and wiring the 3s loom in as everything else (fueling etc) should be ok

WEll for supras alone there are three different W58 bell housings ( have the 1G and I think I have a 7M style one at home so we can try those to elimimate them if they don't fit...

ASk someone with a jap EPC to see if the 3S altezza bellhousing matches any other supra ones!
