Brake Disc & Pads Replacement

Hello all,

First to introduce myself and then I tell you about my problem...I'm the owner of Neptune Blue (unusual color) Corolla 2002 - 1.4 VVTi - 36k, bought it second hand with 13k on clock and after 17 months running with no single problem I found out that Front Brake Discs and Pads need replacing. Local Toyota dealer quoted me around £350  to replace those and I believe that's too much.

So, now I'm looking to get those parts myself and have them replaced somewhere cheaper. Anyone knows any places in Berkshire or around and where is the best place to get parts from?

Thanks guys and allthe best.

Your best bet is sourcing the parts you want through Brakes International (www.brakesint.co.uk or .com I think).

If you click the link below you will see a photographic "How-To" on replacing front discs and pads I did. It was for an older corolla, but it's good for 95% of all cars with discs and pads on the front.

Any questions send me a PM or email.

HTH

  • 2 weeks later...

try a company called Autospare - 0115 983 5280

They are very cheap and work out better even when u calculate the postage costs.
