Think your car is using a lot of juice mate. I have done a 256 mile journey in my 1.3 corolla and used just over 3/4 of a tank which = sumthing like £25 worth of petrol. That was at about an average cruiseing speed of 70mph And revs running around 3250.

Are you running your car in at high revs? What is its idling speed? Also what size engine is it?

my 4AGE gets 40 miles from £10 of fuel, only when I am booting it EVERYWHERE though...

4A-GE's aren't particularly good on fuel. i average around 28mpg, or 250 miles to a tank. and ive just found out mine is leaking petrol from the pipe from the filler neck to the tank, so i cant put more than half a tank in till i get it fixed :ffs:

It a injection model, was thinking of getting the injectors cleaned to see if it made any differance, everythinr is standard bar and airfilter. i'm running on unleaded is that ok?
