Newbie Needs Help

I just became the proud owner of a Celica ST202 import but the remote locking control is broke, only opens doesnt lock. Ive been to my local dealer but they said they couldnt help me as they dont seem to have the part number because its an import. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not an authority on this, so if I were you I would call this plan B, and see if anyone else comes up with anything better:

You could allways replace the remote locking / alarm system, get a toad system or something.

It's not the cheapest option, but if you just cannot get the standard system fixed, it's a good solution.

I doubt that it's the remote at fault, unless it has different buttons to lock and unlock?

More likely to be the central locking relay.

Yep the remote has 2 buttons and the lock button has been smashed up, but thanks for the suggestions i think i will just have to hook up an alarm system to the central locking.
