Paseo Gearbox Dying Any Advice Welcome

hi all,

my gearbox has had slight rough noise (thought it was clutch at first) now its whining and banging a bit / jumping out so have stopped driving before t goes.

Any one know a good place to try for parts, i been advised i can recondition but might be better off buying one in and getting 3 months warranty. incase its stripped and not recoverable.

found someone who wil remove old and refit new for 160 in yellow pages, if i supply gearbox,

im grateful for any advice, i have to admit i love these cars till it comes to parts

Ps Anyone else with gearbox trouble's have a go your self, its not as bad as I thought, get a mate to help and learn as you go and can be fitted in no time, luckily clutch dont have to be touched.

A mate had his box pack up on his Mitsubishi space runner, was quoted loads of money but got all the bearings from blue diamond in southampton cheap as chips, did it himself.
