Possibly A Stupid Question?

Ok this is either a very stupid question or a very good question - I'm sure i'll find out which!!

I'm looking at replacing my rev1 steering wheel with a more comfortable sporty number, i'm aware I will need a boss kit to fit between car and wheel but this is my question:

Will i still be able to move my steering wheel up and down using the lever behind my wipers stalk? or will it be locked in one position?????

If this is a great question i will accept all praise - However if i've just made a public idiot of myself be gentle!!! :D

I have an aftermarket steering wheel mate and it did not affect any of the adjustment that can be done. ;)
