Insurance Companies And Imports

Just noticed that insurance companies have reciently changed their views on imported Supras...

Last year an import tt would have set me back between £2500-3000 (hence i went for a UK car)

But did a quote with my insurer today (elephant) and the car would now only cost me about £1500 to insure

So thats £500 more than my UK car, least i wont have to worry about insurance now when i get my 2nd supra ;)

Had a few pretty good quotes before i bought the mr2 turbo, try Bell direct mate they were £700 cheaper than anywhere else!!

Also i put the mrs on as a named driver and it dropped a further 200 bucks!!
