Hi guys.

I got a really good offer on 18" rims for my Paseo 1996, but i dont know if its

too big. the dimensions are 215-35-18"

I have only read in the forums that people got 17".

I have 16" now, and it looks too small with the xracing body kit on.

so, have anyone tried 18" on the Paseo and would it fit with?

Thanx guys!

ive heard of 18's on 'seos....215's will most probably rub though

yeah, you're kinda screwed. you need to do a bunch of fender rolling, and may have to get the wheel arches bumped out, unless you go get the smallest tyres there are. typically, 17's will rub with a decent sized-tyre. 18, you're going to have problems all around :( good luck managing a fix. PM Oli_paseo for more help (i think that's his board name), as he has air ride, body kit, and 18's on his 2G

thanx for the answare.

there goes that dream..=)

I thought it would fit, cous´the 16" looks soo damn tiny, but it seems to be too much problem with 18, so i have to hunt down som 17" then..

bottom line, if you want something that bad... you'll make it happen.

dont give up on your dream.

uh, have you SEEN the car with stock 14's????

16'inch wheels will still be better for handling than 18'inch wheel tyre set up.

Agreed. A 17 or 16 would be much more sensible. 18's are going to ride like crap too and the first pothole you hit, they're done.

18's are mostly for looks, unless you have a car big enough to use a reasonable tire size so you have some sidewall and width going.

16" wheels would be the most practical, best riding and handling for a car of that size honestly.

ha ha, yeah, but still....=)

But riding and handling would still be ok with 17´s on?

I just fould a wing, that fits just perfect with the x-racing kit,

im waiting for my time at the paintshop, in about 2 weeks,

then i post some pics on it, hopfully with some 17´s on then.. =)

i find with 17s, the car does tend to tram line a little, but handling is pretty good still.

if handling is your main opjective, be sure to lower your car and maybe even add a strut brace too. it will tighten up the turn in no end...
