Are The Engines The Same 2000 2.4 Vs Vvti

Hi,

just wondering if the earlier range of the new shape previas (ie GLS, CDX) is the same as the latter T2 VVTi, T3 VVTi petrol engine. The reason i ask is that the earlier ones arent listed as VVTi engine whereas the latter one specifically make a point of saying its a VVTi. Thanks

i have a year 2000 CDX and I'm pretty sure its a VVTi - certainly seems to go like it. however im not sure the base spec models are VVTi.

My wife has a 2002 2.4 VVTi and that was the only petrol engine in that model year regardless of trim level. You could get it with an auto box :(

ive been getting some online insurance quote and when i input the reg, it comes up with the vehicle saying its a VVTi so i believe it is. Gonna be picking up mine on monday.
