Randomly Low Idle.

My car for some reaons this week has started to idle at about 500rpm, it doesnt happen all the time just when the revs drop from above about 1500. The car has not stalled either..

Any suggestions on what is causing this ?

Low oil pressure sometimes casues bad idle

My 2 did a similar thing after I fitted my induction kit and boost controller, I still needed to fit my F.C.D anyway so I reset the E.C.U before I started. After starting her up again and running it for a few mins the problem stopped and never came back

check for air leaks as well...this can also causes bad idle...leaking dump valve / hose maybe

Thanks for the replies.. I will give the car a good look over this weekend and let you know what I find..

PS: I doubt its the oil as I only changed it 2 months ago, better check all the same though !
