Need To Reset Ecu After Mods?

is there any need to reset the ecu after fitting my apex (relcoated) to my t sport?

I had the ground wire off the Battery when i did it so im thinking i reseted it then?

it should have reset it if you take it off for 5 secs, unless the eml comes on you wont need to do it! :D

ideally yes as youve altered the way the engine is being fed air

under the glove box is a plastic cover, pull that off, and pull out the white plug, count to 10 and put it back in and the ECU is reset. will feel a bit funny at first as it will be in learn mode. clever bit of kit the yaris ECU

Would it be a good idea just to do it anyway, as the car is second hand and I have started using Shell Optimax, or does it continuely learn as you drive...

you can do, but it will self learn after 4-5 tanks, and still wont make a massive difference as itll be tuned to run 95ron anyway ;)
