Any Ideas On What These Buttons Are For?

I have bought my 1993 auto GTR and I have found a couple of buttons, I dont think do anything!!! The first is a little red button that has some japanese on it, to the left of the gearstick, that when I press doesnt seem to do anything, and another button on the right side of the steering wheel next to the button that makes the wing mirrors vibrate that only seems to turn a red light on just underneath the drivers side air vent, but this only works when the engine is running!!!

Is there anyone out there that might know what either of these buttons are for???

I have bought a manual for imported celicas for the age of my car, but neither of these buttons are in it!!!!

There has to be a reason for them being there, yeah?????

The red button on the console in japanese , just lets you take the vehicle out of park ,when the keys are out of the ignition

not sure about vibrating mirrors , maybe they are trying to fold ???

the red light could be just a diode ( make believe alarm ) someone installed. - who knows ???????

Thanks for that, the vibrating mirror thing is supposed to knock off water droplets when its raining!!!! Never seen that before!!! Im not too worried about the red diode, just wondered if anyone out there had one on there g5 and knew what it is for.

Very good, I found the swords quite quickly!!!!!

Just found out what the Red Diode is for, its the rear fog lights, dunno why I didnt think of that before, but thanks for all your help peps!
