Gen 3 - TA60.

The last of the real Celicas. tongue.gif

Yves.

No doubt there, lads, TA60 is the real deal, my mate had one a while ago, we used to have so much fun with it! Anybody got intel on the new 2016 Celica? My search on the net gives me only basic stuff like this - http://italkaboutcars.com/2016-toyota-celica, and sites like edmunds and stuff, with no real info. I actually think those are the photos of the FT-1 Concept! So, if you've got some hard-and-true details, please, do share! I'm set to go for something sporty-and-affordable in 2016, maybe the Celica will be my pick?

Hi everyone! New Celica owner. Driving a 1998 AT200 with a swapped 4A-FE engine (apparently). Imported from the UK few years back. Have to say, I am very surprised how good this car is for its age!

1997 Celica ST coupe. The 7A-FE engine will be swapped for a 3S-GTE engine. The front end will be converted to a Curren front end. And the steelies will be replaced with real wheels.  lol

Love my Blue Edition VVTI!

Used to dream about owning a Celica ever since Sega rally days, it may not be the GT but it is just what I dreamed of. My first car.

At 34 it's stung me on insurance, but worth it each month. Even refused 2k cash today for it.

Basically I just lost my mum to cancer, but I passed my test to drive on hospital runs. Since it is my first car the old man offered a loan, but wasn't keen on it being for a Celica. Since Mum knew what it would mean to me, she picked up the phone and told him in no uncertain terms to go-to the bank and not give me hassle. That was the last phone call my mum made. So this car means more than words can say.

05 GEN7 beauty with limited wheels and front bumper, drives like a beast, looks like a beast, let's be fair..

For Gen7 Ltd Editions... (And for you Mum Xx)

Hi folks. I just bought my Celica (7th Gen 140bhp) a few days ago and absolutely love it.

I'm actually a new driver having only passed my test at 35 but I'm loving this so much more than my previous (prepares for barrage of disgust) bright green Peugeot 206cc. Any general tips for a complete newbie to all of this?

Good choice, Si....the 140 has a lot going for it.

I had mine for 2 years and loved every minute of owning /driving it.

It was identical to yours....even down to the 03 plate.!

Just make sure you give it regular oil/filter changes. (5w/30 fully synthetic)..I did mine every 5-7k miles..and keep an eye on the coolant as they can suffer rad failure.

It's one of the best affordable sports cars you can still buy...you'll love it.!

1996 Celica GT ST202

Camry 3VZ-FE ( 3-litre 24 valve, not VVTi ) conversion courtesy of Paul Woods ( http://www.woodsport.org/joomla/ )

SEGA Rally livery

22 years old ( 26 year old engine ) but still pulls like a train and drives like a dream

She'll go even better once I get a new non-slippy clutch!

These are old pics as I have just put in an Avensis B9010 colour touch screen sat nav
