Exhaust!

[Toyota previa owner]

Right over the past two weeks or so..... the exhaust has gone on the previa and i have been quoted £1568 for a full system from toyota dealer! does anyone know of a place in south yorkshire where they do them cheap???? as its sounding really rough! Any help please!

My back box was in a bad state and yes toyota quoted me £500...

no way...

I got mine done in leeds by powerhouse....wait for this stainless steel back box and pipe £210 inc VAT and lifetime gurantee...

there must be similar exhuasts fitters in south yorkshire try auto trader..

It all depends (of course) on which Previa and which exhaust you have... I have info on the 1990 - 97 models:

The 4-branch manifold is only available from Toyota or your friendly scrappy, so don't strain your self looking for this as a pattern part, you won't find it!

The catalytic convertor (CC) can be one of two different types, according to the ECU spec... the short CC only has one O2 sensor, the long CC has two O2 sensors...

The tail-pipe is also one of two different types, depending on whether or not you have the long or short CC... If you have the long CC, you need the short TP, and vice-versa...

I have source for the short CC as a pattern part, but not the long CC (which may not be available as a pattern part), so I believe the most cost-effective solution is to fit the pattern short CC and the long TP... which is what I did, and the cost was less then £300... fitted!

If you need post-1997 Previa exhaust details... sorry! No can do... but why not try the same places, should be some info there, the model is eight years old now!
