being a dedicated Lowrider i'm used to seeing some 'bizarre' car mods but nothing prepared me for this:

Yes, this has been posted about on 'General Issues' and across a lot of other forums. It's got everybody talking...nice to see it again

Noticed a lot of the customs seem to be over 20 years old

Everybodies woundering whats it all about (them long spoilers etc.) still it makes for an interesting motor world :D

The scene has been around in Japan for ages. I remember about two years ago someone from TOC posting pictures of cars modified in a similar fashion from a "cruise" he went to while visiting Japan back then.

It's sad to say 98% of those cars are owned by the Japanese version of pond-scum and chav w@nkers :help:

Next thing we'll see is them wearing white trainers, burbury baseball caps, scarfs, coats and tracksuits

Serious ?

Its just that a lot of the cars converted are around 20+ year old (Classic) and my experiance of 'Chav' type people is they don't like 'Classic/oldtimer cars'.

Also I thought Japan had strict vehicle regulations yet surely a lot of these cars wouldn't be allowed through even our M.O.T (which is strict enough!)!

Just shocked thats all.
