Number Plates

Where can I get a set of "show" plates that go on over the number plates for shows etc............????????

The type where I can put anything on I want - NOT FOR ROAD USE.

Yes, I had a look at fancyplates and laid out the best I could get.......

They need more fonts really and they still look a bit sterile for what I really want - but I don't think I can actually get what my mind creates......

They certainly offer better value for £££ than gtgrafix so I may order up some if I can't beat them.

There's always the car shows if you can't get any joy over the internet.

There are usually a few traders at them doing plates and you can sit down with the guy and design exactly what you want.

A word of advice though Gordy.

Dont go and discuss the details of the plates you want making up when its late at night and the chap that is designing the plate is pished. :D

It takes twice as long.

Or maybe it took sooooo long coz I just couldnt make up my mind on what design to have.

Try looking for a stall at a car show that make up the plates while you wait. I got a pair of chromed lettered plates at Santa Pod last year. The numbers were 65 mm high, and the plate cut to size accordingly. Only cost 15 quid the pair. I ended driving around WITH the cromed lettered plates on the car for ages. People were asking me where THEY could get some, cos in the day, you couldn't see what it said, just yellow/white blank. :D I steered them towards a car access. shop I shop at.
