Changing Steering Wheel On Mr2.......

hi guy's and gals..was wondering if anyone here has changed a airbag equipped steering wheel with an after market jobbie and experienced any warning lights coming on ?? cheers. :)

Hi mate,

changed a rev-5 steering over last weekend - no probs at all just make sure 1- the keys are out of the ignition 2- the Battery is disconnected when you take it off

You should disconnect the Battery at least 30mins before removing the wheel to discharge the capacitor. Be gentle with it and you'll be fine :yes:
