Did Ya Miss Me?

Bet ya didn't even know I was gone, did ya!!! :P

As a few of you will know, I'm currently 'fighterin' my motorbike, which of course has kept me in the garage every spare hour I've had for the last month or so.

Apologies if you've been trying to get hold of me on MSN or anything. My bro installed a wireless router the other week, and it's cut off access to MSN!

The manufacturer's don't know why either.

I know which setting to change on it (MRU value), but if I change it to the one they've recommended, it cuts off the other 2 PC's in the house from the net, etc!

I can currently use the net, but no MSN.... :crybaby:

Still.... I'm bbbaaacccckkkk!!!!!!

 :D

At least I can depend on the gurls for a hearty "we missed you John!!!"

Welcome back!

Your MSN probably inst working because you need to configure your proxy settings. This is a common problem people get when networking computers. Try a search on google and you should find a step by step guide on how to overcome this problem.

Lol....

Cheers for the hint Sal. I had asked Addon (the manufacturer), and they said that only the MRU value should need changing.

I'll have a butchers, but if it keeps hassling, then I think I'll return it and get a D-link, 3-com, etc instead...

Don't worry - you lot will never scare me. I'm a big 'ard biker, me!
