Did you know...

That's one of the reasons the McLaren F1 had a central driving position. Ex-McLaren guy and father on the F1 Gordon Murray is a grade 1 hi-fi buff as well as a "car guy" and gets frustrated by the imbalance of the audio in "normal" cars. When he was designing the F1 that was one of the considerations.

now - I would not do anything even remotely like that to my car.

but - you have got to admire the skill, effort, experience and time that has been invested into doing that, and making the car completely and utterly unique.
