Nicknames

Following on (kind of) by Scionics post about Forum Names, I was wondering what peoples real life nicknames are....

For example, in the real world, I'm Emma! But most people call me Em although my nickname is Mimi!

It started when I used to email Rich, I signed off as ME, which changed to MeMe which changed to Mimi!

I also have other nicknames too - but I cant mention those on a public forum!

My name is Ryan, but at different times in my life I've been called:

ry-bread, ry-ry, ry-guy and most recently my friends here have taken to calling me "rion" since I drive a Scion.

So I get "Rion in the Scion" all the time, sort of the same problem Charis_Yaris has.

Kind pf picked up the nickname in my early 20's as i used to skydive when ever i could and my work mates said they was going to buy me a new parachute that opens on impact and then they could call me Splat and the name has stuck.

and a mutual one i share with a mate which is 'Spastike'. It's greek, but i ain't translating it :P

Canny (which a couple of my old old school mates still call me. but most of them i have retrained to call me just Chris)

Think my friends are getting lazy in their old age as they just call me G now.

Used to have a guy in school insisted on calling me Gonzo as he had the misconception that I had a big nose. We fell out!
