Cool car if not a bit tacky looking and in need of a manual. But more importantly has a turbo yaris 1.3 engine.

Shame about the gear shift buttons being dodgy to reach but harsh suspension we like :)

Another car that has a yaris engine is the Mini D One. Does the yaris D4-D have a turbo charger then. Anyone driven the Yaris D4-D, any good?

Why do you say in need of a manual? Is it auto? Can't be bothered to read it! Otherwise i'm thinking engine conversion?

Whats stopping you Yaris owners finding a wrecked one when they're a few more around (I'd want to crash a car that ugly...) & doing a transplant? Make you're own Yaris Turbo!

i've driven the yaris D4D before. i was quite impressed with them. they have alot of buttom end torque. IMO, other then the extra torque, it didnt feel any different to the 1 litre yaris though (toyota wouldnt let me loose in the t-sport :cacker: )

and i only have to put back 5 quids worth of diesal back in the car, including bouncing off the limter in 2nd for a few miles! :P

Sim: the D4D does have a turbo,but its tiny!
