just randomly...

is there any way to ditermine the cc of some injectors by a photograph?

ie colour of casing?

Rich.

yeah, i think different colours correspond to different cc capacities, there was a thread with a bit about that not too long ago

nah sorry, just went for a quick search couldnt find anything. well basically all (higher capacity) fuel injectors do is inject fuel into the cylinders at a much greater rate, hence increasing the amount of fuel in the cylinders. however, for low horsepower applications you will not require a huge amount of fuel as the amount of air entering the cylinders is limited...on boosted applications higher capacity injectors are required as you are cramming a lot more air and hence a lot more fuel is needed to maintain the fuel/air mixture at the specified ratio....

as such, on an n/a application higher capacity injectors arent really needed unless you're intending to run quite a lot more horsepower than stock. in which case you'd probably need a higher capacity flowing fuel pump as well and a perhaps even a bigger fuel rail (this is only for like really high power, not strictly necessary) as well as a fuel pressure regualtor to make sure everything flows as it should.

awesome,

cheers for that! ;)

injectors work on different resistances, so you can't just swap them over easily. Sera ones are 225cc and are reddy-brown

It depends how clever the ecu is to know if it can cope with them.
