Window winder will have a sort of cir-clip around it - if you look down behind the point where the centre of the winding handel meets the door you should be bale to push the clip off and the handel will come of the end of the shaft.

Not seen yaris ones as only ever had three door version, but this is a pretty standard design used on most cars.

thanks steve, sort of gave up on the back doors tho cos i got scared once i broke one of the little plastic things and it was a real finger cutter trying to put the seals back in etc etc
