:help: I have a MRII 2.0 GT Turbo import 92 (Model). I have spent £3000 so far on a rear main oil seal then the head gasket started leaking so i had that done. Turbo was replaced along with 2 new rear wheels.

However, i have had a problem with the vehicle over the last month or so with the in particular the Exhaust Temperature Warning light with the Radiator fan and Battery lights flickering from time to time. Sometimes they don't come on all. I have broken down twice in the last week. I have checked the charge on the Battery and sometimes it charges. sometimes not.

I took my car to a Auto electrician and he re-charged the Battery and run it on the car again and the alternator was charging ok. I thought it might be the alternator and i have just spent £120 to have this checked. The alternator is allright and has about another 15K to go.

Can anyone advise me as to what this problem is? And how can i rectify this problem?

Cheers

only guess as not a clue would be to check the stereo for the electrics, a friend of mine with the same car found that his Speakers were not grounded and permanently live which drained the barttery all of the time ????
