Verso Brakes.....

Has anyone had problems with warped front disk on the original corrolla verso ?

Recently had me 1.8 T3 serviced (20k) and they had to skim the front disks due to vibration when braking at high speed - brake now grinding.

They also suggest on to of the £145 for the service that they recommend brake and clutch fluid change @ £46 each and A/C service @ £95 - seems expensive and what is actually covered in a 20K service then :(

Brake and clutch change is usually recomended at 2 years old but I thought it came under the 2year/20k service. As for A/C service at 2 years old no way! unless there is a fault which should be covered under warranty anyway.

Also you state that they skimed the front disks, these should have been replaced! I am astounded that a Main Toyota dealer would actually 'skim' discs, also discs (but not pads) should have been replaced under warranty due to car being so young!
