Advice On Buying A Celica Needed

I have been having loads of trouble with my Paseo as of late and i am seriously considering getting a Toyota Celica instead. I am looking at a 1.8 on about a 96 97 plate. First thing i was wondering was what to check when buying them. Would my wheels of my Paseo fit on one becuase they are only 2 months old. Also is there much differance in insurance between a 1.8 and a 2.0? Any advice would be great .

not long ago i was in the same boat as you, i swopped my Pug 306 for a celica ans i haven't looked back since.

When you go to buy one just look for the normal, suspension, brakes, any rust, large amounts pf body filler. make sure tha car is cold when you start it, otherwise the person you'ver brought if from must have run it to get it hot for a reason.

Check if the steering wheel and seats are worn compared to the miles it has done. If the seats are in poor condition with low miles on the clock this means its been clocked. keep away from it, check the PAS works ok.

Hope this helps.

Cheers, Kirstie :D
