Ideal Job

I think I've found the ideal job that I would like to do.

Meteorologist.

You get a shedload of wonga to guess what the weather will be like and it doesn't matter if you get it wrong you still get your big fat paycheck.

I checked the five day forecast on BBC text this morning in anticipation of fine weather for Sundays Track Attack and from Wednesday onwards it was unbroken sunshine, excellent I thought, great for the minimeet barbie I'm having on Saturday and even better for Sundays track day, I've been telling everybody how fantastic it's going to be------------WRONG!

Did another check tonight and there's a weather front moving in, promising a wash out from Wednesday through the Weekend, It's lashing it down at this very moment.

I REALLY! hope they've got it wrong again......

some of the best trackdays ive ever done have been in the rain.

people tend to be put off by it raining but all you have to do is take it a little easier on the corners and dont push the car as hard.

But saying that i hope the forcasters are wrong and its a nice sunny day :D

I hope weekend is good weather! I've got a 'Land Rover Road Run' from the Landrover factory in Solihul to Gaydon Motor museum. It's a parade of all Land Rovers through the ages...and we want to have the hood off!
