Noise On Acceleration

Can anyone help?

I have a strange vibration noise coming from the engine bay when accelerating. It sounds as if the engine note is coming in 3 whining stages. The Corolla has been to my local dealer twice already- once to have the inlet manifold changed and once to have the air intake box replaced. Neither of these repairs have rectified the problem. I have since learned that Toyota have issued a new bulletin on this fault but have yet to hear what their remedy is. Has anyone had a similar problem and if so, how was it fixed ? Cheers !!!

I'd had a similar problem with my manifold as well sometime ago, but it's becoming noisy again.

Not sure if it the same thing or there could be a small hole in my exhaust making all the noise :lol:

Will let you know soon, as it's just due for a service and MOT :censor:
