Fuel System Cleaners

I haven't ever heard any horror stories or anything wrong with fuel injector cleaners, though for the most part they just contain a concentrated form of the same additives that are already in most petrol.

If I were use a fuel injector cleaner, I'd probably go with the Chevron product with Techroline, just because I've read some positive things about that particular additive from the API.

I wouldn't bother with any of that stuff until higher mileage though. Say 60k+ miles.

I bought some Wynn's Engine Flush.

I think it goes into the Oil, It says to change the oil filter after.

I suppose it's because of all the sludge that gets moved about.

I thought I would put it in before my 60K Service in June.

Do you think I should tell Toyota that I've used an engine flush and for them not to do one? But please change the oil flitter :-)

do NOT drive with the engine flush in the oil!

you put it into the oil prior to oil change and let the car run for about 10-15min... then change the oil and oil-filter...
