please dont quote me on this but I have a 1.3 g6 so if its the same this is how mine works. :!Removed!:

I had to pull out the heater unit below the radio - it should remove quite easy.

then look UP in to the dash (once removed) you can see two brown 10mm bolts remove these bolts and then pull on the radio (dome piece) from behind and the hole unit will remove from the dash!!!. Depending on who fitted it you may well have a further two screws to remove in the sides of the radio!!

Hope this helps!!!

if you still have problems let us know and i'll send you some photos!!

If your head unit is in a "pod" on top of the dash then this thread will help.

I had a TTE frontbumper onit , TTE Loweringsprings -35mm, Booster WRC Grill,

LaserExhaust 100mm endpipe, Booster BIG Spoiler above the window of the 3e door

Selfmade Coldairintake with a K&N dropinfilter and self made Muddflaps in the front and the back .

And i removed my original antenna and put a 16v in d the back of the Roof

And my rearwhiper laying down in rest

Thats what i done to my G6-R :group-cuddles:

Nice choice in car mate and welcome to TOC!

Where in Scotland are you from?

John's (ae111sr) thread explains the stereo removal perfectly, it is pretty easy when you try it, just looks hard to start with! :)

You can just buy an autoleads set I think mate. What were you driving? Did you see the other Corolla? Its changed a lot since the last big meeting at Crail.

Oh right, cool. Yeah the G6R is the same shape as yours. Its quite nice, not too low either. Im looking to lower mine soon, I have springs but want to buy coilovers instead.

The Gold Yaris is a TOC members too. (rossnova's).

I might be up at Knockhill on 15th as there is a big Fast and Modified thing then I think. Was at Knockhill tonight but it was quite quiet.
