How My Prius Changed My Life!

My driving style has completely changed......

This was NOT a concious decision but it has happened anyway.

I`m,well,more chilled/relaxed/mellow.

I drive much more smoothly,avoiding sharp accel/decel and tend to worry less about journey times!

Previous to the Prius I had an Audi A4 2.8 avant Quattro.I will be totally honest and say that I did not drive this in a smooth or chilled manner! :arrgg-matey: (My wife will confirm this AND the hudge change in current style).

Has anyone else had similar experiences?? :group-cuddles:

Hi, I had exactly the same experince as you, owning a Prius has changed my driving style completely, and it's a much less stress free way of driving........I love it !

Yep, same with me. Took a month or two to get to that state of calm but it happend. I still lapse on occasions but usually when forced to by the traffic flow around me.

I think there are three contributing factors for me:

1 - The consumption display shows smooth driving is rewarded by higher mpg

2 - The feeling of open, light space in a Prius is calming rather than the enclosed dark, cockpit feeling you get in many cars.

3 - It is a lot quieter if you are smooth.
