Super Unleaded Vs Optimax

i notice on another topic that kan uses optimax in his tubby. is this ok to do so?

as a new owner of a mk2 turbo, and being advised to use super unleaded, is optimax 98 RON? - if not/ or even if so, is it ok to use then? as it is a bit cheaper than super unleaded i would be most happy to receive the thumbs up for this fuel!

Definately Optimax the car will run a lot better for it :)

Being from N. Ireland we only have Super. I run the car on Super all the time. However last year I was at Santa Pod and used Optimax in the 2 weeks I was over. Optimax is by far a better fuel. The car was noticabily faster.

use optimax, it's a better fuel than super. mine wouldn't full boost on super but is fine on optimax, it's the closest uk fuel you can get to the jap spec fuel

If you want some added zing, try Millers Octane Booster, which when added to Optimax probably gets near to 100RON fuel. You can buy the stuff in cases from Scoobymania at a very good price. (much cheaper than buying it per treatment)
