Car Alarm

Hi all toyota main dealer just replaced my alarm as they said it was broken , kept going off all the time. Now what is happening is i can leave the car in a car park and when i come back cant use the remote to open car , got 2 spares they do not work either. the alarm of course now keeps going of as i cant disarm it , the rac cant disable it , just taken it to the dealer and left in ther compund so my street does not get woken up every 20 mins ..has any body else had same prob,,toyota has allready reset my keys once but it keeps happening...oh yeah its a 98 R plate 1.8gs,,,thx paul..

I have a 98S and got a tip from cpe(thanks),may be same thing...1,open drivers door with key,keep door open.2,put key in ignition turn from off to on,wait 10 seconds and press unlock button twice,when you hear the unlock sound thats it. Its worth a go as it just saved me a lot of money. it turns out when i changed my batteries in the fob i took too long...good luck and fingers crossed
