Dead Suspension

Well a superb evening was had at the TOC/LOC C=urry night but that's another story....

Just as I arrived at the last roundabout before home my front drivers side suspension died :(

Luckily it happened just as I was pulling away from the roundabout and as the car is firm and low anyway not to much damage was done. I've had to pull the wheel arch covers (the plastic bit off) so the wheel will just turn from where the tyre is sitting but I now need to source new suspension for the car !Removed! quickly as the nose wobbles like a demon on the drivers side where it has no support and obviously with the suspension sitting flat it isn;t doing the car much good at all...

What a way to ruin a superb evening out with the club.....

I'm going to dissapear for a sulk ! I guess on the bright side, Koni's or Blistein anyone :)

:censor: :censor: :censor: :censor: :censor:

:D :D :D

Like the all behind me bit... You guys shouldn't have started playing then *cough*

That's exactly what Badger said, what's even scarier is that if it had happened 20 seconds earlier I would have been going a lot faster and could also have faced serious problems, another saving grace is that there was a car broken down on the entrance to the roundabout and normally I would have taken it a fair whacfk quicker than I did tonight, cacn you image the damage that could of been done if it had failed while I was going around a roundabout with a reasonable amount of speed....

I guess there is a bright side to every story, timig is just awful...

Working on Gold Discount I should stand to save £30 on parts a lone if I just get new dampers and fit them myself (thats after subtracting membership cost) and who knows how much if I got Mr. T to fit the suspension....

Could be an interesting little project fitting new suspension all around the car.....

Am very tempted with fully top adjustable Koni's at the moment, will be either those or Blistein :)

my brother has a Koni i think.. very expensve system which ever it is.. he bought it adjusted that there is no play so the handling is very tight... but a bone shaker for sure.

make sure you dont too hard as your ride enjoyment will be crap.

BTW.. i must have been elsewhere coz i was following sarah and did not even see you turn off...

perhaps the strain of the track weakened the suspension!
