Parts Needed Urgently

My car finally broke down last week, And it seems that the distributor has gone, as its a toyota only part, the only place to get 1 is from toyota, but the are charging £478 for one. Im not going to pay that much just for a distributor, So do any of you have one for sale? or know where to get one cheaper than that?

If its been mis firering for so long could it have done much internal damage to the engine?

Im just thinking it might be better to buy a starlet gt front cut. But id need some helpful advice on fitting, and any other options.

JapParts in Stockton have ( had ) a couple of Seo's in last time I was up that way. There are quite a few breakers yards that people know of on this forum around the country.

I'm wondering if it's unique to the Seo, or if it's the same distributor as the Starlet/Rolla/Other. If it's used on a few models then you should have no bother finding something.

i may have one mate i will have to look for you asap. boro sera where abouts in the uk is that breakers with the seo's i have had my car 8 months and still never heard it running or driven it.

Worth calling or Emailing them, as stock changes all the time at places like these.

I like the fact that they list a 96 Sera ( only made them from 90-95 ) :D

Actually I may have one... I'll have to go and have a look.

I can sort you out with a Sera distributor, but these have a seperate coil, so there may be rewiring involved.
