Front Fog Light Cracked

Another road chipping, another bit of damage.

The front fog light is cracked. Fortunately the stone didn't damage the surrounding bumper but I thought these new plastic lights were supposed to be tough. :(

And, I know we pay though the nose for genuine Toyota parts, but this is ridiculous -

the dealer has quoted over £100 fitted with at least 3 weeks delay on getting the new part. :o

So, they are plastic ones on the current model then? Mine is an early model and has Hella glass type front fog lights. It did crack after overtaking a grit lorry. But I used windscreen repair fluid to seal all the cracks and so far so good. :P
