Probably about the same performance and with the TTE charger you get a 3 year warranty and you get it fitted by the TTE guys and your ECU mapped to suit. Contact your local Toyota dealer for more info or TTE direct!

I'll make sure I don't hold my breath when waiting for Mr T at Slough to give me info... When I went to get my paint checked the other week, one of the managers was telling me I shouldn't know about the new supercharged 'rolla and he hadn't heard a thing about the new Yaris - tried telling me that he couldn't see Toyota getting rid of the phase two. Twonk.

I'd expect to see the same expression when asking about a TTE charger - uncannily like the one when someone grows two heads...

Its 3 years on the charger written warranty.

that includes any breakage due to failure of the compresser.

my 3years starts from 18th january 2005.

I thought these units did not affect your warranty at all?

Any failures on the car would need to be proven to be caused by the supercharger for it to affect the warranty.

We had on LOC member have his engine blow up (a hole in the engine) - and Lexus replaced the entire engine, under warranty, despite a TTE supercharger being fitted since more or less day one.
