What I Did Over The Bank Holiday

On Sunday I went on the Land Rover run/parade from Solihull Factory to Gaydon Motor museum (Gaydon was where the rest of the days events were held).

Thankfully no thunderstorms as my transport was a 1966 Series 2A softop!

A few pictures of the day:

At Gaydon ('Redwing' Fire engine, 1967 hardtop, 1966 softop (my transport), 109''LWB Softop).

A prototype 'WMIK' (Weapons Mount Installation kit) Land Rover, as per the sort now in the Gulf/Iraq.

A row of 101'' 1 Tonne Forward Control Military Land Rovers

And finally (it was advertising classic car insurance!) not a Land Rover ...

Brought back some childhood memories :lol::lol:

(Who else remembers? :D )
