Was just looking at something priced in USD $ , then converted it to GBP £ ....

the exchange rate is crazy !!

$209 was only £109 !!!!

Time to buy things from the US me thinks!!!

I wouldn't assume that $1 buys here what £1 buys there though, if you know what I mean. That's common mistake.

Still, the exchange rate should deffo work in your favor (or favour, even)

Come visit New York City, they need the tourist income. :(

Yes, but unfortunately your government and immigration service make it so blooming difficult to actually gain entry to your country. I know that all the hassle puts me off :(

New York is amazing - I've been once, but I want ot go back and see all the stuff I've missed :thumbsup:

Just for a visit???

I was under the impression that England was one of the countries with whom we have an agreement. I think you can stay here for up to 6 months with no visa or papers of any kind.

All you need is a passport and a plane ticket. I'm fairly certain of that.

take it from a regular visitor...

its never that easy.

there is an agreement in place, called the Visa Waiver... BUT that means a hour long queue, a few very personal forms, your photo and fingerprint taken...

and its 3 months...
