The resisitor will more then likely cause serious harm to your engine. I can't remember the full details now, but trust us when we say avoid using it!

It will do more harm then good!!

I also oppose the resistor, one i saw on eBay described it as fooling the ecu into thinking it was getting more cold air then it actually was, which common sence would tell you is BAAAD, si i wouldnt, aaand you get what you pay for, you pay nothing you get nothing!! they retailers of these are liars who dont tell you the side effects

air filters are actually quite easy to get hold of for this car i purchased one from eBay in america for 12 dollars its advertised as for the 1.8 but the only differnce between all of the different kits is the length and shape of the connecting pipes mines fitted and sounds amazing!! grr not really much difference performance wise bit more edgy on the throttle but apart from that it just makes a nice noise!

DONT FIT A CHIP TO YOUR CAR!!!

I did it to my 1.3 it DIDNT work :ffs: . It hasnt changed a thing on the power at all!!. :censor:

If your looking to chip your car do it properly- GREEDY do a chip that lets YOU adjust the system mapping on you computer- ive heard alot of good stuff about it and once ive payed my insurance and tax (the important stuff) i will look it to buying that and a airfilter on my 1.3

Alrite mate, good move avoiding the resistor! i would like to know about this cone, i fitted a k&n cone for a 1.6 to my 1.3 using stainless and a silicone reducer and it only makes a noise and as far as i know and my colleagues know a filter only makes a 'big' difference when hi-lift cams or a turbo is fitted. Go for a fse fuel pressure regulator, cheap power, same with removing the cat. before you even think about it dont go near fitting a turbo, its hassle and expensive, its not just the turbo you would need. dont forget if your going faster you need to stop faster, i have been doing 1300cc stocks for 3 years and being able to stop is important!! go for ebc green stuff pads (around £45-£55) ebc shoes for the rear (similar price as the pads) black diamond discs (around £110).

as for the most power i aint sure but i shud think 100-110bhp is the highest you are gonna get without spending £Ks.

what size wheels you got??

hope everything goes good!!

cheers mate.

at the moment i am running around 100bhp and i havent even got manifold-full zust sytem, down pipe, etc...

i have just added a ecotek cg-26p valve today.

and at the mo im waiting for my wheels.

i think a turbo wouldnt work as 1.3's cant get enough power for this,

not yet anyway.

i have found a company that make ssuperchips for 1.3 e10 but its £300 notes and will only add around 5bhp.

if i remeber right.
