Funny Idling

Had my car for about a month and have noticed that when you first start the car from cold it idles at around 1100-1200 rpm. When warmed up it fluctuates between 600-800 rpm. It's a 2.0 vvti, does this sound about right?

Sounds perfectly normal for a modern engine, the ECU makes them rev higher to start with to help warm up the engine and cat quicker, flucation between 600-800 is a bit of a range but then the VVT-i range are a funny breed anyway and doesnt sound too abnormal.
