I have bought a mongoose full system, but near the tail pipes there are no hangers, just 2 thin pieces of metal whelded on with holes in them???

how does that fit to the car, anyone know???

If anyone has a mongoose exhaust on corolla gti then PLEAASSSE if any way, email me a pic of what youve done, as i need the exhaust fitted at the latest saturday, ready for saturday night

thanks

you have to remove the bracket from the original toyota backbox when you take it off and use it, ithen t just bolts onto the new backbox. had to do this with a janspeed backbox so i suspect its the same with a mongoose, should fit perfectly then.

that does make sence, but i dont have the origional exhaust, i have a performance exhaust on it already, so i need the origional exhaust bracket??

THANKS alot for your help, but ill see what a mongoose owner's done, that way im 100% certain as i do not remember seeing any form of bracket on the standard exhaust apart from the hangers/hooks

cheers

there should be some sort of bracket on the performance exhaust youve got unless its a custom job in which case i dunno, the one on your current exhaust is more than likely the original toyota part. once u take the current backbox off u should see what i mean. the bracket can be a wee bit rusty tho...... was thinkin of gettin a full mongoose, where did u get it from and how much? if u dont mind me asking!! :D

ive just posted on the aftermarket parts section, i got mine for 289.99 delivered all in, and that is the cheapest youll get anywhere

its www.anything-cars.com i think but double check in the aftermarket parts section at the top of the corolla forum.

only problem with my bracket is that i have already got a performance exhaust which was for a civic, which i got chopped and changed to fit my corolla gti so there are no origional parts left.

but try a mongoose as ive heard from EVERYONE on the forum and everyone on the CRX forum also say Mongoose is the best aswell as my mate got a CRX, so you cant really beat that.
