yep apexi starts to rattle the dash at 3500 rpm. there is a cure for this though!

open the window and listen to your amazing filter, you'll soon forget about the rattling

Sounds like a known bizzing that comes from not the dash but the windscreen surround. If you look at the outside lower edge of the windscreen there is a sort of plastic mask thingy that sits on it.

If this is the culprit a carefully wedged sticky pad between the plastic and glass is the cure. Only thing is the only way to find out is to try the pad!

Worked for me

Also i found removing the speedo and fitting some foam behind the clock also cured my problem. But like said in the post earlier it's the plastic around the windscreen is the main problem starts to vibrate once you hit 4000rpm thats because of the induction kit.

I have no induction kit (yet! :D ) and i had this buzz for ages! It's the black plastic at the bottom of the windscreen... just use some white sticky pads (300 for £1 at my poundshop!) and stuff about 4 down just under the plastic... no more rattling!

Yeah what Keanu and clarky said! I had that when I had my Pipercross but then I put some sticky pads on and it went and has never came back!

Sorry on train so no piccy, but if you look at the windscreen lower edge where it meets the bodywork of the bonnet there is a black platic lip that sits on top of the windscreen.

Gently leveer it off the windscreen and pop a couple of those sticky pad things underneath. I found it was the driver side that did it on mine, but while you're at it you might aswell do both sides.

If you're careful the pads wont be in view. PM me if its still not making sense and Ill get the camera out tonight when I get back.

If it's a "Zzzz" noise, maybe it's the car mocking your boring driving.....

:P
